About Foundation For Southeast Texas
The Foundation for Southeast Texas is a community foundation with a not-for-profit status serving Hardin, Jefferson and Orange counties. Established in late 1996, the Foundation manages, invests and administers funds given by many donors for numerous charitable purposes. The Foundation responds to continuously changing and emerging community needs by addressing the following areas of civic and social concerns: arts and culture, preservation, education and scholarships, health, social services, youth and elderly, economic development and civic affairs.
Our Community Foundation at a Glance
Since 1998, we have granted almost one million dollars to nonprofits
in Southeast Texas and to other national nonprofits who serve our community
through our designated, donor-advised and unrestricted funds. Our Annual
Report shows a complete listing of the grants made in the past year,
but here are just a few of the areas we have supported:
